Hey, it's time for another episode of Tech Tool Talk. This is Chad Godson and I’m your Tech-spert today. Today’s tool is.. online photo editing! This tool is VERY VERY important to anyone involved in graphic design, digital photography, analog photography, and even something as simple as illustrations! Photo editing is a tool that is used to, well, Edit Photo’s!
There are many programs that one can use to edit photo’s such as Picnik, Photoshop, Pixenate, Pixer and much much more. You can find any of these programs in any Technology, office outlet, or super center (like a Wal-Mart, or Target) near you. Usually the program will come on a CD and then you download that program onto your computer such as the program Photoshop. But a program like Picnik is already web based so you can just go to the website and use the free material that is provided for you.
On the CD based photo editing tool that you download onto your computer, there will be a CD that will teach you how to use the program and the features and tips that you need to create AWESOME pictures. And on the web based editing sites there are usally examples of pictures that have been worked on using the tools of that site to better give you an understanding of what the tools on the site can help you achieve . Some of the more basic tips these programs can teach you is how to always use new and different angles, light adjustment, adding words to the picture, cropping, gradient levels, and a whole lot more. The cool thing about photo editing is that anywhere there is a computer you can do it! HECK even some phones now a days will allow you to do it! Photo editing is helpful at school with online art projects, or just editing the photo’s you took while you were at the lake.
Whatever the case may be create whatever you feel like. JUST HAVE FUN!
